Designed for use with available application-level software such as VANC Monitor and VBI Remote / VBI Monitor the TTX891 is the next generation of Norpak TV data de-embedder PCI card. It combines the functionality of the TTX870 SD-SDI VBI Receiver card with the TTX890 Multi-format SD / HD-SDI VANC De-embedder card.
Aimed at broadcasters, cable and satellite operators, other content delivery companies, and integrators & OEMs, the TTX891 allows users to "see" what is in their TV signal.
Operators can monitor data contained within content to ensure that mandatory data (such as closed-caption and ratings information) and other data services (such as audio and AFD metadata) are present and correct.
When used to receive VANC data, the TTX891 can de-embed data from multiple VANC lines and de-embed multiple packets per line. A combination of up to eight DID and SDID packets can be processed simultaneously. In "raw" mode, all data from one or more lines in the VANC can be extracted. This capability makes the TTX891 ideal for a wide range of applications including high bandwidth applications that require multi-line/ multi-packet decoding.
When used to receive VBI data, the TTX891 can simultaneously de-embed multiple VBI data streams onboard and provides the formatted CEA-608, NABTS, and WST data to the PC for application processing.
The TTX891 facilitates integration into a wide array of PC-based solutions. The card's hardware architecture allows high-speed processing of large volumes of data with minimal loading of the PC processor. Multiple TTX891s can be used within a PC providing a scalable solution to address multi-channel applications.
A software development kit (SDK) is available for integrators and OEMs. |
