Overview	The TES3 is a highly flexible platform which carries out encoding, insertion, reception, bridging, and multiplexing of digital data in the vertical blanking interval (VBI) of a television signal. It can operate in any country's television and AC power standards, and encode and insert data in many VBI formats, making this the first world-capable VBI platform. The TES3 combines the four components necessary for VBI data transmission into one unit: communications, processing, encoding, and insertion. Software modules - factory or remotely (via the built-in modem) loaded - enable the various modes.

Features	The TES3 combines the four components necessary for VBI data transmission into one unit: Encoding: Many VBI data formats (NABTS, WST, AMOL, Line 21 Captioning, CGMS, Gemstar, proprietary) can be encoded, simultaneously. Insertion: The TES3 will insert the encoded data formats on any combination of video lines 10 - 25 (7 - 22 in 625 line systems), in many video formats (NTSC, PAL, SECAM, 525 & 625 line). Communications: Multiple data ports, modem or LAN and VBI data decoders can be used for data input and output. Processing: The heart of the TES3 a powerful processor with FLASH disk. Data formatting is handled by the unit and loaded software modules.
