The MSC4 MPEG-2 Transport Stream Processor is a PCI card designed to de-multiplex MPEG-2 transport packets from the input port and re-multiplex transport packets to the output port. It contains one input port and one output port, each capable of handling up to 50 Mbps, for reception and transmission of MPEG-2 transport streams. The MSC5 MPEG-2 Transport Stream Processor supersedes the MSC4 and provides more features and performance.
